| put filler on  and sand too much off...  Repeat until really pissed off! then paint it with grey stone chip below the line to match the rest of the car  chucked some normal grey primer on the upper part so it doesnt rust during the week  that'll do for now, fucking hate it! might just flat it out and start over | |

| Looks better than it did though (rusty) - that's a good thing.
How did you apply the filler? Used a proper filler plastic swipe action? That'll help get a better finish if you re-do it (i.e. less streaky) | |

| spent ages flatting and priming and repeating got some colour on tonight not been polished or anything, just as it is drying. hopefully it will dry a bit darker. will mop and polish it tomorrow  | |
